Apple Cinema Display 23-inch

Apple Cinema Displays are brilliantly designed HD Display LCD monitors. The Cinema Display is priced exhorbitantly but its sleek design and its beauty will force you to shell out the mega bucks to own it! It does not have too many features to blow you over, but it has its own charm that each and every product of Apple has.

The design in the best part of the Cinema Display and this is what makes it so special. The bezel on the display is made of brushed aluminum and the power button can be found on the right side edge of the bezel. The base of the display has also been made of aluminum and coupled with the neck, it forms a sweet “L” shape. Apple has taken of every small detail that you can think of, which includes tucking of cables to the placement of ports.

Functionality is quite reduced on the display due to its minimalistic design. You can not raise the height of the display, nor can you change the display between Portrait and Landscape modes. The display can be moved either left or right by just sliding it which is ultra-smooth and also uber cool! It can also be titled back and forth by a few degrees.

Apple Cinema Display use DVI connector, so that means you can hook it up to a PC as well. The display can also be wall mounted, if you like it that way.  The Cinema Display features only few ports which include a couple of USB and couple of Firewire ports. If you are looking for high functionality then the Cinema Display is certainly not your cup of tea.

The brightness on the display is controlled by touch-sensitive button that is hidden just below the power button on the right side edge of the bezel. You can only change this setting if you plan to use the display with a PC and not a Mac. But the best part is that the display quality is amazing and its produces all the details brilliantly. Performance is something that does not get compromised, thankfully!

The Apple Cinema Display is one of the most elegant and beautiful LCD displays that you will come across in the market. Apple has even opened the opportunity for non-Mac users to enjoy the beauty of this display. If you want a value-for-money display or you are looking for a display with loads of features then this will certainly not make the cut.
