It been just about a fortnight or so since the iPhone 3G hit the markets around the world and many more awaiting its launch eagerly. Just a couple of days ago, we had 7 Must Have iPhone 3G Accessories post which listed down seven must have iPhone 3G accessories. Plantronics Discovery 925 Headset is certainly a must buy, but if you don’t have that much money too spend, don’t fret. Apple iPhone Bluetooth is a perfect replacement at a lower price tag.

Apple iPhone Bluetooth Headset compliments the iPhone especially the new 3G version. It is elegantly simple and small in size. But that has its disadvantage too as it offers less support for staying fit in your ear. Recently Apple had announced a cut in the price of the headset a week back or so making it an attractive buy.

The headset is sleek and small and in a black outfit looks smart and professional. It hardly carries any weight on its shoulders, so don’t forget you have it on when its in your ear! The exterior is made of metal and has a glossy finish with clean lines. There is just a single button as a control which is a multifunction button.

The headset’s earpiece fits easily into the ear but there is hardly any support to keep it in there for rather too long. Keeping it simple has its disadvantages as well as a single button can handle only a handful of tasks and important tasks such as volume control don’t make the cut. Pairing it with iPhone couldn’t have been easier. There is also a battery indicator on the headset.

The button can receive and end calls or switch between the headset and the iPhone. Call quality is good but unfortunately not loud enough for noisy environments. No noise cancellation or any such feature to improve the call experience, but thats Apple for you. The battery backup time is very good and close to what is mentioned in the specifications.
