We have headphones from various brands but only few go down well with audiophiles.Creative is slowly making its way into the headphone market but it surely is making its presence felt with good quality products.Creative Aurvana Live is the latest offering from the company and it looks like a promising product at affordable price.

The Creative Aurvana Live’s earcups exterior is made of glossy black plastic while the interior has super soft padding making it comfortable for long usages but the material does tend to accumulate sweat which can be a bit of nuisance. The headphones have not been designed keeping portability in mind as the cups can not fold in a shell so as to reduce the overall size. The headband can be adjusted to suit your head.

The completely closed designed has a definite advantage as it does lead to a bit of noise isolation hence leaking small amounts of sound.The headphone has a good long wire of 4 metres and is made of good quality which can withstand rough handling.A good accessory that comes with the headphone is an extender cable which extends the length by another good 4 feet. The connectors are gold plated to ensure minimum loss of sound quality.You also get a pouch and a adapter to ensure compatibility with different ports.

The performance of the headphones is strong and it manages to deliver crisp sound even when the volume is cranked up.The headphones is an all rounder and handles various genres beautifully.Bass levels are good but not overly strong as some might prefer.The highs,mids and lows are maintained in a balanced way. Some might find fault with mids though but for this price range atleast I couldn’t expect a better sound quality.The headphones are great for an average listener and above average for an audiophile to put it in simpler terms.

Final Thoughts

The Creative Aurvana Live are a boon for anyone looking for great sound at a relatively low price.The headphones perform upto their expectations and are truly value for money.It would have been nice if Creative had made them portable else there are no major issues with it.
