Dell Studio 15 and Mac Query
The first query is by Jane Lusk :
does the studio 15 come with the remote for the multimedia thing.
also does it come with a TV tuner?
Yes, the Dell Studio 15 does ship with the Dell(TM) Travel Remote Control. It it basically designed for Windows Vista with Media center functionality kept in mind. However, you can use it to control basic functions on Windows XP too.
No, the Dell Studio 15 does not come with a TV tuner. You also do not have the option for adding the TV tuner as an accessory to your Studio 15 notebook. However, you can buy a TV tuner separately for your notebook. These are available in both ExpressCard and USB options. I would go in with a USB one as they are generally cheaper than ExpressCard slots. But if you are short on USB ports, you can always go in with the ExpressCard one. Also try to get one with hardware decoding for better quality.
The second query is by Sagar :
Hi,
I have a Nokia 5610 Model, I want to access internet on my IMac workbook using mobile so any one can help me out in how can i do it.
Thanks n Regards,
Sagar
The easiest way to accomplish an Internet connection between your Nokia 5610 and iMac is by using Bluetooth. There are two steps to this process that will get Internet running on iMac. The first step is to pair both the devices in question which are the Nokia 5610 and iMac. Switch on bluetooth on Nokia 5610 and make sure its visibility is not hidden. Turn on bluetooth on your iMac and search for bluetooth devices and connect it to the Nokia 5610. This completes the first step of the process.
The second step involves setting up the Internet connection on your iMac. This is the hard part as you need to know the settings of your mobile service provider to be entered during the setup. Go to ‘Set up Bluetooth device’ and select ‘Access the Internet with your phone’s data connection’. Click Bluetooth option to bring up the settings. Enter the details corresponding to your service provider and Apple Now. Click on Connect now from the Phone Menu to establish the connection. A shortcut way to escape the process is to grab hold of a script and save it to /Library/Modem Scripts folder.
