I agree with Monica. I have had various problems with this laptop. I have had it for 6 months and have already had to send it in to fix the screen twice. Most recently, the touch pad above the keyboard is not functioning and every so often the keyboard and mouse will quit working. I have contacted Dell about 3 times in the last month and they say they fix it, but it always goes back to doing the same thing a week or so later. Instead of fully resolving the issue, the representatives at Dell spend their time on the phone trying to get me to purchase a 3 year warranty when my original warranty is not even up until next September. It is so frustrating, and I have come to the conclusion that will never buy a Dell again. BEWARE OF THIS COMPUTER! DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE SLEEK DESIGN...ITS A PIECE OF JUNK!

I agree - don't waste your money. The computer touchpad freezes, screen freezes and overheats if on for more than 45 minutes. Customer Service for ANYTHING for DELL stinks. No one speaks English and no one helps. After going through a pre-recorded menu, taking 15 minutes to get to an actual person, they transfer you back in to the phone system and no one comes back on the line. The company is horrible.

This computer is a piece of Junk. I have had nothing but problems with it since I bought it. Dell won't do anything to fix them!!

I have purchased a Dell Studio 15 off the shelf. I needed something fast and Dell was running way behind...I missed some features in doing so but overall am very pleased - great value for the price. However, 2 problems I can't seem to resolve..1. touchpad seems to freeze up for no apparent reason - just stops working - but if I wait, it eventually comes back and I am able to move cursor again. 2. Can't seem to get enough volume to hear many online videos such as You Tube, CBS news etc....have gone to 4 different sites for example to hear Katie C interview Palin and can't hear any of them ! I have checked settings and all seem to be at maximum volume...something I'm missing?
Can anyone help? THANK YOU !

Good Dell Laptop. Stylish design, but I really hope that this laptop can also be best for gaming.

Dell Studio 15 is an inexpensive laptop. However, I don't want to get one right now.

New Windows will be released in 2010 and Office probably in 2009, so I think it's a waste of money to buy a new computer at this moment.
