Hard Drive and Windows XP theme Query
The first query is by Pasha :
I have a SATA hard drive (250 GB) and it works properly, and I? also I had an old Hard Drive (its IDE and has 80 GB capacity). when I connected the IDE hard drive with the CD ROM Cable, windows detected it, but there is only 33 GB of 80 GB shown. I checked the Capacity size in DOS, VISTA and XP, and the same amount was shown. I did checked for bad sectors (there wasn’t any) and had formatted it in DOS but I still can see 33 GB of 80 GB of it.
what should I do?
There can be a couple of reasons for this. Did you run Disk Management in Windows to see if there were any unformatted partitions that were holding the rest of the space? You do not need to check partition size but total disk capacity which can be done either through disk management or other third party software such as Acronis Disk Director Suite. Also you can not format FAT32 partitions greater than 32GB in Windows XP. So try making a NTFS partition.
But I think the solution to your problem lies with the jumper. IDE hard disks have jumpers which control various settings such as primary/master etc. A jumper on it if placed, limits the hard drive capacity to 32GB. Remove your hard disk and check for jumper. That should most likely solve your problem.

How to download Vista theme to XP ?
Please post software related queries on the Ask-Us page of Softosphere. The Vista theme does not officially exist for Windows XP but there are many other themes designed for XP that that resemble Windows Vista. Apart from themes, there are software which customise the look of Windows XP to match Windows Vista. Pathik, author on Softosphere, has posted an excellent tutorial regarding your query. Have a look at it here.
