iPod-TV and Mobile Phone Query

More Ask Us queries waiting to be answered…

The first query is by our reader, Anand.

I’ve Apple classic 80 GB IPOD. I want to connect it to my OLD TV which has only two ports on the backside for connecting VCR.

I’ve a AV cable which has 3 points (red, yellow, white).

How can I connect my ipod to my TV?

Hey Anand,

The AV cable you have is called a composite or RCA cable which is generally used to connect to a TV. You will need to either get a compatible cable or use a two ports to RCA connector. If you could mail us a pic of the TV port, we might be able to help you more.

Another query by Jay,

Hi guys.

I just saw that the price of SE w902 dropped and now actually has almost the same price with Nokia 5800 XM.

Pls. help me decide on which phone I should get..

I love music, and I want my phone durable and long lasting.

At the same price, which of the two should I get??

Which one gives the better bang for my buck?

Hello Jay,

The choice is really very simple, if you want a camera, the Sony Ericsson W902 is the phone for you. It has a 5 MP camera and nice features. However, the Nokia 5800 XM is a superb phone with a brilliant display, a 3.2 inch touchscreen, excellent display quality, superb audio and video playback. The only thing it lacks in is a camera – it has a average 3.2 MP one. It also has the better OS and supports more third party applications.

If there was one phone I could invest my money in, it would be the Nokia 5800 XM, but then it’s just me. :P Since you want music more, go for the Nokia 5800. Personally, I may also go for it soon.
