Klipsch recently ventured into the headphone market although it has been a very old and trusted player in the loudspeaker market. It has long history is producing loudspeakers that have set new benchmarks and now it aims to capture the booming headphone market. Klipsch Custom 2 headphones are not the first headphones by the company though.

The Klipsch Custom 2 headphones have a streamlined design with futuristic looks, with each earpiece having a dual-balanced armature. A thing peculiar about these earphones that you will notice is that the cable pops out of the earpiece from the top rather than the back and has an extra 2 inch of molded cable to go around the ear. The overall length of the cable at around 4 feet is long enough.

The earphones have a oval shaped rather than a regular circular shape adopted by most manufacturers. The fit of the earphones is quite good but it is highly subjective and you need to try one to see if you like it. Klipsch has bundled five different sized silicone tips. The molded wire really helps to quickly snap them on and secure them in place.

The performance of the headphones is sublime. The headphones provide you with balanced sound even at higher volumes. The bass response of the headphones is great. The sound quality is crisp and crystal clear. At lower frequencies, you can probably make out a few distortions but they are not a major concern. You can bank on these earphones to provide you with a rich sound experience which would put your money to good use.

The Klipsch Custom 2 headphones are part of the the Custom series which has three set of headphones and Custom 2 are placed in the middle. These offer a balanced sound that completely justifies the price that Klipsch is charging for it. A great buy for anyone looking to buy headphones in this range.
