LG KF700 Review

The market has seen a revolution with the introduction of iPhone and touch handsets are booming. LG has heated up the battle with the introduction of LG KF700 handset, a few weeks ago. It features multiple control and navigation methods along with a 3″ display. The look is quite similar to the iPhone except for the fact that it has a slider keypad too.

LG KF700 specifications :

  • Dimensions : 102 x 51 x 14.5 mm
  • Weight : 110g
  • Display : 3″ TFT Touchscreen, 240×480 resolution
  • Camera : 3.2 megapixel with autofocus,image stabilizer
  • Connectivity : GPRS, EDGE, 3.5G
  • Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP
  • FM Radio
  • Memory Slot : MicroSD
  • Approx. price : $320

The price is the most attractive thing that you will first encounter about this handset. The handset has three input methods which include keypad and a scroll wheel apart from the touchscreen. You have to use the keypad to enter text which isn’t an intelligent thinking on LG’s part. Also no D-pad on the keypad means you are bound to use the touchscreen to navigate.

It aims to compete with the Samsung G600 and the Nokia N82 and the upcoming Nokia N96 and Motorola Zine ZN5. It is slim, sleek and light and has a very simple yet stylish design. Hi i am planning to buy a new cell phone and the cell must have the following features :

1. Good Battery Backup

2. 2MP cam with good Zoom feature

3. Expandable Memory (Upto 1 G.B)

4. Must hav nice audio features with clarity and surround effect.

5. The phone must be sleek and stylish

Please suggest me with a cell phone having above features in Nokia only.

My budget is (7000-8000)rupees.

In your budget i.e. 7000-8000 rupees, the best phone to get would be the Nokia 6233. It is a bit old now but has all the features you would want - A great 2 MP cam, superb sound quality and speakers, the easy to use S40 User Interface, expandable memory upto 2 GB, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth etc. It has great looks too but that is completely subjective. Its not very slim though. Continue reading ‘Nokia Mobile And Samsung Instinct Query’

Port Forwarding and System Restore Query

The first query is by Milin Paul :

I want an help regarding my router wireless one. Some days back i bought Linksys WRT160N wireless router. I have got bsnl india 256kbps plan. I usually downloading so many things from uTorrent but no it seems to be blocked or doesnt gets much speed. I checked the windows firewall and the routers one its all disabled. But then also the uTorrent doesnt responds much, but when i connected directly from modem no problems it works properly and also i get almost 30kbps speed for torrents. So help out from this problem.I didnt get much speed (very low speed) when i connect my WRT 160N but its firewall and all are disabled. So kindly help me to get rid of the problems. I posted this problem from so many sites nothing finds good so plz do help me in this matter…. Plz mail to me regarding this problem

The problem lies with port forwarding. I hope you are aware what that means. If not, it means that you need to configure your router to allow data exchange freely through the port used by uTorrent. In the uTorrent window, check at the bottom just left to the download speed, what is the network status. It must be showing network problem as the port is not forwarded. To solve the problem, you need to open up the router configuration page and forward the port. Detailed instruction for your router can be found here.
