We have two more queries on our Ask-Us page,

The first one by our reader, shrey dhaundiyal

sir,
i wnt 2 buy a pc, so im cofused about the configuration.
i wnt 2 use softwares lyk catia, auto cad , and pro e , efficiently.
sir, wt is the best processor amd or intel for it.
i m frm india tell me about the cost also.

Hey Shrey,

Since you haven’t mentioned a specific budget, I will enlist the minimum configuration which will meet your requirements..

I would suggest that you get yourself the following configuration:

Intel Based

Intel C2D e7300 2.66 GHz
Any Intel P35 / P45 based Motherboard
2-4 GB DDR 2 800 MHz RAM
500 GB WD / Seagate HDD
Nvidia 9500 GT / 9600 GT 512 MB
Any cabinet with a 600W PSU
Creative / Altec Lancing 2.1 Speakers
Logitech / MS Internet Keyboard and Mouse
19″ Dell LCD Monitor

AMD Based

AMD Phenom X3 8450 2.1 GHz
Any AMD G78 based Motherboard
2-4 GB DDR 2 800 MHz RAM
500 GB WD / Seagate HDD
ATI HD 4830 512 MB
Any cabinet with a 600W PSU
Creative / Altec Lancing 2.1 Speakers
Logitech / MS Internet Keyboard and Mouse
19″ Dell LCD Monitor

Both of them should cost around 30K, and will run all your stuff. They can also be used for gaming. We would prefer the Intel config.

The second query is by Steve,

i need help. how to connect my laptop that has wifi to my pc to share internet connection

Hey Steve,
To just connect two PCs using Wi-Fi for sharing, you should read this tutorial - http://www.digitgeek.com/how-to-connect-two-computers-using-a-direct-wi-fi-ad-hoc-connection/

To share an internet connection, you will need a Wi-Fi router which you plug in to your internet connection using an ethernet cable. Then you will need to configure your router and the computers and set the router as the default gateway in both the computers. We might come up with a detailed tutorial on it soon.
