I recently purchased an HL61A750 and must say I am impressed. Off angle viewing is NOT an issue since my room is long and narrow. The remote control IS BACKLIT despite what this reviewer said. Noticce the button with the light bulb icon on the top right of the remote? It is clearly visible in your picture on the site. This is also the GREENEST set on the market relative to plasm and LCD sets which consume HUGE amounts of power in comparrison. Using less than on watt (.8) in standby mode and 120 watts\hour when on the HL61A750 uses less power running than plasma tv's use in standby. Anyone who is "Green" and owns a plasma is deluding themselves. In short this set ROCKS, lowers my carbon footprint, and is easy to operate with it's BACKLIT remote control, not to mention a bargain. Kinda hard to beat actually.
