One of the premiere headphone makers in the world is Sennheiser. They offer a number of high quality products such as the EH-150 and the quality of all of their products is top-notch.
The CX 300 is no different from the rest of Sennheiser’s products. They are high-quality ear-canal headphones with powerful, bass-driven stereo sound. Included in the package are ear adapters that come in three different sizes ensure a perfect fit, high wearing comfort and an excellent attenuation of ambient noise. The CX 300 are any portable device.
Here are a few of the technical specifications for the CX 300:
- Street price: $79.99 approximately
- Nominal impedance: 16 Ohm
- Cable length: 850mm
- Frequency response: 18k…..21000 Hz
- Sound pressure level (SPL) : 112 dB(SPL)
Things I like
There are a number of things I like about the CX 300. The first is the excellent sound. Like normal, Sennheiser have produced a product that sounds amazing. The CX 300 have a crisp nice sound that remind me of a high end stereo system not just a pair of ear buds. The bass is pretty good but not the best that I’ve ever heard but for under $100 I can’t complain. The ear buds also isolate outside sound so instead of hearing outside noises you hear the music your listening too.
The best part of all of this is that you get the excellent quality all for under a hundred dollars. Most ear buds that have this quality (or around this quality) will cost you over $200. With the CX 300 you get everything for under $100.
Things I don’t like
The only problem I have with the CX 300 is that it doesn’t come with a travel pouch or any accessories at all. This is fairly annoying because even though the headphones aren’t overly expensive they aren’t exactly cheap either. If would have been nice for Sennheiser to put in a pouch or something to hold the headphones. Other than this there isn’t anything I don’t like about the CX 300 ear buds.
Pros:
- Fairly cheap
- Amazing sound
- Nice feel, isolates outside music
Cons:
- No accessories
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for an affordable, decent-sounding pair of earbuds, start with the Sennheiser CX 300. You won’t regret buying these headphones, they sound amazing and don’t cost that much. With the money you saved you can also buy a pouch for them.
